First surge of COVID-19 in Wuhan, China
The first surge of the new COVID-19 disease possibly appeared in Wuhan (China). The surge may have begun somewhere by the end of 2019 (November or December), a few studies pointed to earlier in 2019. The first outbreak was identified in 31 December 2019, thus the end point in the last day of 2019 .The name of this disease varied between January and February 2020, until the WHO decided on COVID-19 on 11 February 2020 (Link: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/technical-guidance/naming-the-coronavirus-disease-(covid-2019)-and-the-virus-that-causes-it). More on Wikipedia (English: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19), but, as usual for encyclopedias, Wikipedia is only a starter point, not an end point. But careful! They will not discuss WHO's mistakes at the beginning.
